Anyone have some good recommendations for cheaper alternatives to MAC pigments?
I used to use Twylah Bleu, but their web site is down right now (and has been for a while). I just got some samples from Fyrinnae (formerly Bombshell Bath and Beauty). The colors aren't quite what I'm hoping for (searching for the perfect pinky-brown neutral), but the quality is pretty good so far.

Re: Your fav alternative to MAC pigments?
Fri, September 29, 2006 - 6:41 PMI've heard a number of times that Milani (www.milanicosmetics.com/) has a number of the same items and is from the same manufacturing lab. I get it at Target. Much smaller line, and no novelty products, but their eyeshadows are highly pigmented and come in some beautiful colors, like a black powder with gold flecks, and some vivid blues, greens and purples, and I think cost under $3.00!

Sat, October 14, 2006 - 9:08 PMTwo options:
1. HIP by L'oreal is great. I really like the loose powder pigment--I love MAC but the prices are high. I get a MAC discount b/c I'm a dancer (IF ANY OF YOU stage perform, you can get it, too!!!), but HIP is still cheaper.
2. www.eyekandyglitter.com, but I'm biased since I own part of the company :) -

Tue, July 21, 2009 - 8:07 AMGood lord. I love me some MAC, don't get me wrong... but when I can get Splash or NYX powsers for $1.99-3.99 at any mom and pop beauty store.... Why would I pay that price? I just don't see a difference. Well, actually, Splash has more colors than MAC. <3
