water based lip stain

Hello all, new member here.
I once tried a water based lip stain that was amazing and now I cannot remember where I tried it or what it was called. It wasnt sticky or matte like other lipstains, it came in a glass tube with a roller top and it was very very watery. Once it dried it stained my lips a lovely berry colour. I loved it...why didnt I buy it?? Does anyone know what product I am talking about?

I just bought a couple lip stains from Styli-Style; can't remember the name of the product, something like T3. Anyhow, they are basically felt-tipped markers for the mouth, with a bullet-shaped "brush", sheer soft color that lasts pretty well. They are dirt cheap, like $6.50. They need something shiny layered on top though- a bit drying.

Yes it was perfect! All the ones that I have tried after that has sucked every last bit of moisture from my lips. I wish I could remember!

Was it that? I used to use the Hard Candy stuff. Very very watery, roll on, nice berry colors.

The hard candy one is less forgiving, and doesnt' apply evenly. If you are going for a bee stung natural look, then the colors in that line aren't really very subtle. The same applies to Benetint. The original is too pink for most people's lips and the Glamazon is too brown.

Check out Sephora. Really, I can't say enough good things about the Two Faced products.

I also recommend Styli-Style lip stains - they're sort of like a marker, for your lips. It lasts a long time, dries without drying out your lips but stays put; and dries without being sticky or smeary amd looks natural. You can put lip balm or whatever ovev it. and it pretty much stays. I love it, especiallly becdause I don't like to look like I'm wearing a lot of makeup, but this has a very natural look. I'm pretty fair toned, so my fav color is 1401 Seine, I got it at at beauty supply J(Sally Hansen) store. If you haven't found something already, do try thy this one - it's great, I even gave one to my mom and sister. Good luck.
