The best eye gel ever, packed with retinol and is the reason I have no crow's feet yet is GONE! Why do companies torture us so?
The only worthy replacement is Awake's Hydro plus eye gel which is twice as much money :(
Oh and btw I love this Tribe , am new and have tried virtually every cosmetic ever conceived LOL
Peace

Re: Origins Discountinued Line Chaser
Tue, December 14, 2004 - 11:48 AMTry eBay -- I just did a quick search on Origins and came up with hundreds of matches in the "cosmetics" category.
Do you have any product recommendations for dark circles under the eyes? I'm trying Benefit EyeCon, but haven't noticed anything dramatic (yet).
So glad you love the Tribe!

Re: Origins Discountinued Line Chaser
Thu, December 16, 2004 - 11:48 AMHi L Boogie-
I actually started using Line Chaser because of dark circles-the cucumber base with vitamin C and A is unrivaled. There was a reason why all those old school salons put cucumber around the eyes. it not onlt reduces swelling but it appears to heal the broken blood vessels that cause dark circles in the first place, the viatmins help lighten the pigment.
In my opinion Benefit makes fun stuff and good makeup but their skin care treaments are only so so.
Their tinted moisturizer "You Rebel" is their best product.
For repairing the eye area these will work after about a month:
1.Origins Line Chaser- still around for now.
Use it all the time and your entire eye area will look different in
about one month.
2. Awake Hydro plus eye gel-45.00$ but woth it. Thicker then line chaser so go easy beacuse it may break up concealer though it usually melts right in. Awake has the most elite and stringent processing codes of any cosmetics company in the world. Everything they make is excellent. Neiman's SF has a friendly counter, ask for samples.
3. Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue helps to brighten the eye area and reduce the appearance of dark circles, puffiness and fine lines (from such things as rubbing, surgery, allergies, etc) This eye treatment contains anti-oxidants and bioflavonoids such as vitamin K in liposomes, co-enzyme Q-10 encapsulated in caviar, kojic acid and vitamin C. I've only been able to afford it once..IT's 100.00$$ AAAhhhh, a friend of mine hooked me up with a discount...IT WORKS!!
however, one of the drugstore brands "Sudden Change" has a copy of the gel that is good too it will just take longer to work.
Vitamin K is the next big skincare ingredient.
Oh and BTW, none of this stuff will work without sunglasses and an sunscreen for the eyes. Dermalogica total eyecare spf15 is a staple-one of my favorite all time produsts. -

Re: Origins Discountinued Line Chaser
Fri, January 7, 2005 - 12:03 AMI just started using dermalogica and love their products. I feel very little to no irritation if any of the solutions gets ihn my eyes. All the ingredients are of the highest quality and natural. Please do tell me what you have been using since I have started Dermalogica.

Re: Origins Discountinued Line Chaser
Fri, January 7, 2005 - 8:11 AMI too like Dermalogica, it's a great line for teens and 20's or anyone with normal skin that does not break out because it's simple and fragrance free. They don't make the most revolutionary treatments but they do everything else like sunscreen, cleansers, scrubs and masks REALLY well. When I used to get facials that is what my facialist used. All the other lines like Decoleor, Babor etc were awful-just full of essential oils and stuff you should be putting on your feet and not your face. Dermalogica keeps it simple.
Derma logica Multi-vitamin eye concentrate is a phenomenol product and worth adding to my above pantheon of eye creams-though astronomically expensive, it does everything it's supposed to. Since I'm out of Origins and Awake eye gels right now (I prefer gels over cream) , I've been using Neutrogena's continous moisture eyecream, which is very light and a great substitute till I can get my usual.
Other than their cleansers and haircare line , Neutrogena is an excellent line, you can almost never go wrong with their stuff, it works under makeup and is affordable.
