best eye cream/gel?

Which one actually works on those fine lines around the eyes? I have a difficult time working between one that is effective, but doesn't cause small pimples after while... (I generally have dry to normal skin...) what do you think works best?

Not that I have a lot of experience, but I use Neutrogena visibly firm eye cream now(because guys get wrinkles too, thanks Queer Eye LOL) I get a pimple if it gets on my upper cheeks so I am very careful to put it just under the eye and to the corners.

What's up with eye cream causing pimples? I need to start using one, but now I'm having second thoughts ...

well, I have semi-sensitive skin and too much moisturizer (even with dry-normal skin) causes pimples for me. Little tiny ones on my cheese where my undereye meets my cheeks... wrinkles form there, too, so I tend to put the cream to that cheek/undereye line and then after a few weeks, tiny pink pimples..

I'm annoyed I have them at all b/c I started using undereye gel (lighter than cream) when I was barely 19! It's just not fair!!

I used to get small bumps under my eyes, but I was told by an
aesthetician that they were from dryness.... hmmm. So anyway,
I use Neutrogena under-eye cream too. It's fine-- does the
trick AND can double as lip moisturizer on the road.

      Hi y'all!
Just in case you missed this...it's my tome on my life long love affair with eye gels..

I actually started using Line Chaser because of dark circles-the cucumber base with vitamin C and A is unrivaled. There was a reason why all those old school salons put cucumber around the eyes. it not onlt reduces swelling but it appears to heal the broken blood vessels that cause dark circles in the first place, the viatmins help lighten the pigment.
In my opinion Benefit makes fun stuff and good makeup but their skin care treaments are only so so.
Their tinted moisturizer "You Rebel" is their best product.

For repairing the eye area these will work after about a month:

1.Origins Line Chaser- still around for now.
Use it all the time and your entire eye area will look different in
      about one month.
      2. Awake Hydro plus eye gel-45.00$ but woth it. Thicker then line chaser so go easy beacuse it may break up concealer though it usually melts right in. Awake has the most elite and stringent processing codes of any cosmetics company in the world. Everything they make is excellent. Neiman's SF has a friendly counter, ask for samples.

      3. Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue helps to brighten the eye area and reduce the appearance of dark circles, puffiness and fine lines (from such things as rubbing, surgery, allergies, etc) This eye treatment contains anti-oxidants and bioflavonoids such as vitamin K in liposomes, co-enzyme Q-10 encapsulated in caviar, kojic acid and vitamin C. I've only been able to afford it once..IT's 100.00$$ AAAhhhh, a friend of mine hooked me up with a discount...IT WORKS!!
however, one of the drugstore brands "Sudden Change" has a copy of the gel that is good too it will just take longer to work.
Vitamin K is the next big skincare ingredient.

Oh and BTW, none of this stuff will work without sunglasses and an sunscreen for the eyes. Dermalogica total eyecare spf15 is a staple-one of my favorite all time produsts.

I've tried many eye cream/gels and have a hard time finding one that I can use without it making my eyes tear and burn...very sensitive eyes.
I found one that is a all in one treatment for the whole face and the eyes. It's called Power Rich by Dermalogica. It's hand made in small tubes for freshness. Now brace yourself it's an investment. $165 for 5 tubes... I took the plunge and got a whole box for myself after many samples but if you went in on a box with some friends then it be like $33 a tube. I use it all over my face and around the eye area, a little goes along way. I think one box will last a year or so. You can see the results almost right away.

I was using the origins white tea under eye cream, but switched to Philosophy's hope in a jar. It seems to work better than than the origins stuff, and I like the fact that I can use it around my lips too. I was thinking about trying Benefit's eyecon, bu I think I may stick to Philosophy after reading about the non-effectiveness..I'm glad I read this thread!

But I do keep hearing about the "Line Chaser" from Origins...it appears to be a really popular product. If it was that popular, why did they discontinue it?? Does anyone know?

I was recomended to use Prescriptives Intensive Rebuilding Eye Cream through a friend who has a plastic surgyn client. I had tried various eye creams with no luck.

Then when I started using the Prescrpitives eye cream I used it only on one eye and the other eye I used "the other brand." After one week I noticed a huge difference and after 2 weeks I threw away "the other brand." I was showing everyone my two eyes and everyone was amazed at the results. In fact the results were so dramatic that I my mom, my sister, and most my female freinds went out straight away to buy the eye cream.

Prescriptives has a few eye creams but this is from their super anti aging line. The products in this line are grey. The eye cream is 65 USD for.5 of an ounce but it works so it is worth every penny.

Here is a link to the product on Prescriptives we site: www.prescriptives.com/templat...ded.tmpl

I swear by this eye cream. I would suggest going to a Prescriptives counter and trying it for a week and you will notice a difference.
