All of a sudden I turned 35 and it looks like some big-ass black bird is nesting in the corners of my eyes - you can really only notice it when I smile, though.
Anyway, I'd like to hear your thoughts on a good anti-line/wrinkle eye treatment - I am not worried about puffiness or dark circles so much as these crow's feet.
Thanks everyone!

Re: Favorite Eye Serum/Cream/Gel for CROW'S FEET?
Thu, March 16, 2006 - 9:42 PMSomething with a retinoid will help the crows feet -- ystheal cream is available in east coast CVS stores and has retinaldihyde -- I got some online and think it's great. ReViva's DMAE serum for dark circles is a good depuffer and has sort of lightened my dark circles -- I have chronic allergies so the circles come with the territory -- I've had them forever -- concealer is my best friend...
Neutrogena's got a new retinonal out that's gotten good reviews -- Anti-Aging Wrinkle serum or something like that.

Tue, March 28, 2006 - 5:15 PMNuetrogena has a new eye cream that's tinted and has an SPF of 30, I believe. One of the best products for the $ as finding a sunscreen for use around the eye area is difficult.

Re: Favorite Eye Serum/Cream/Gel for CROW'S FEET?
Wed, March 29, 2006 - 12:01 PMThe eye product in the Olay Regenerist line is good- but according to the Cosmetics Cop site, it's essentially the same product as their serum, but in a much smaller container at the same price, so I use the serum. I'd suggest alternating that for daytime with a retinoid eye product at night. I use Renova, but not sure it's really worth the expense, so L'oreal's Pure Retinol, one of the Neutrogena retinol or a Kinetin product (Almay used to make a low-priced line, but looks like it's history... but a number of companies use it; try Googling it) are all pretty good.

Re: Favorite Eye Serum/Cream/Gel for CROW'S FEET?
Sun, April 2, 2006 - 9:30 PMArbonne has an AWESOME!!! product for eyes called NutrimenC RE9 Eye Cream. Actually, I love all of their products, which is why I started my own business with the company.... I am not saying this beacause I want you to buy something from me... I say it because IT WORKS WONDERS!!!! I'll be 30 this summer and started to have those feelings 2 years ago (thanks Mom for not using sunscreen when I was little!). I also had very deep lines between eyebrows. I noticed a MAJOR difference in 10 days. If you go to their site they'll have before and afte pics, recorded testimonials and can hook you up with someone (of course I have my own site too, but don't want to give the wrong impression in here, just let you know it's out there to help you).

Re: Favorite Eye Serum/Cream/Gel for CROW'S FEET?
Mon, October 16, 2006 - 2:46 PMHi Solange,
That's the age-old question! I think the key is to drink a LOT of water, make sure you're getting enough sleep and a good clean diet. If you're like me, though, and spend a lot of time outside or in a big city full of nasty airborne chemicals, your skin still suffers. I like to use different cold-pressed organic oils in the formulations I make. These oils contain the highest levels of antioxidants (good for scavenging free radicals and reversing environmental damage). Different botanical extracts can work wonders, too.
Many of my friends were asking for eye cream and serum, so I did a lot of research over the last couple years and testing on everyone who'd let me. I came up with a couple new products:
The Radiance Serum is good for all over the face, wherever you don't have oily spots or blemishes. It helps the skin repair and grabs a lot of free radicals, while it moisturizes. Good for night-time application, so it can soak in over several hours.
The Geranium Under Eye Repair cream has many good botanicals (including geranium, of course!) for reducing puffiness and wrinkles and stimulating cellular renewal. It's made with jojoba oil, which is the closest to your skin's own oil, and rose hip seed oil which is gentle and deeply moisturizing (but it's a "dry" oil, so it isn't greasy). I've been using the eye cream for years, and think it's helping stave off wrinkles from squinting in the snow all winter.
Using a product with fresh cold-pressed oils is key- they have the highest levels of antioxidants and nutrients. Don't believe the companies who claim that their products contain "antioxidant rich oils" unless they use fresh, organic oil that hasn't been exposed to high heat (expeller extraction).
Check them out, if you like. Let me know what you think, I'm always open for some good honest feedback. My website is www.angelinaskincare.com. -

Re: Favorite Eye Serum/Cream/Gel for CROW'S FEET?
Mon, January 1, 2007 - 1:39 PMMy choices that I've had results with (being the ag outside in the sun dry skin girl) are Borlind's, Dr Hauschka (love) or plain Rosehip oil. Also Dr Hauschka's face oil.
& oh oooh never thought I would say this but the Salley Hansen products; I use the lip balm plumper but I use it on my eyes & those deep lines in the middle of my forehead & around my smiley cheeks that once were apples ;;
it doesn't run & I can put 'other' stuff over without a gooey surprise to fix

Re: Favorite Eye Serum/Cream/Gel for CROW'S FEET?
Tue, March 6, 2007 - 7:51 AMHi Solange,
I'm turning 35 in May and I had the same issue. The crow feet AND deep lines around my mouth from smiling and I was also getting some lines in my neck. Yuck! I have a friend that suggested I try a skin care line from Japan that isn't available in stores in the US yet...but she had been using it for a while and looked great. I was a bit hestitant, because I've been through different skin care lines and had never really noticed a huge difference, but this one rocks.
My skin is ultra soft and healthy looking, my lines around my eyes have gone (yeah!) and I just look so healthy. I love the softness. I'm always saying 'Feel my skin!'...hehehe.... I'm not oily at all, but I'm very hydrated. I've been getting the questions: 'What have you been doing differently?', 'Did you get your hair cut?' and recently I saw a friend and she said, 'You look radiant! What are you doing???'. It's pretty cool. : ) I think that other than my eyes, my favorite part is my neck. I was getting lines in my neck and it was dry and not soft at all...but now they have almost completely disappeared and my neck is super soft.
It's natural, preservative free (preservatives are toxic to our skin), vegan, fragrance free, colorant free, does NO animal testing and for once, I've noticed a difference that I can really see and feel.
Here's the website:
www.sensationalskincare.info
Thought I'd pass it along. I've just been using the 'Travel Kit' for $30. It has the cleanser, lotion, serum and eye cream. I guess I'll have to buy the regular sized products soon. : ) The cleanser is rich and creamy and it takes a tiny dot to lather for the face and neck. I love the serum and eye cream too...those take even less than the cleanser...the 'lotion' and the 'skin serum' are clear...not white...looks like water, but are rich and hydrating...these products last forever...I've been using the 'sample/travel' eye cream for almost two months.
Oh and the design is cool too. They had Dr. Emoto look at the water and they used the water crystal design as their logo... It's beautiful. He named the crystal: Wellness.
Good luck on reducing those feet! ; ) -

Re: Favorite Eye Serum/Cream/Gel for CROW'S FEET?
Tue, May 1, 2007 - 8:39 PMWow that product sounds AMAZING and I definately have to try it. I have tried a lot of products over the years, and thought I'd pass along some of my tried & true favorites. The first is Burt's Bees eye cream. It is very rich, I don't recommend using it under make-up. But it smooths out the lines and really gives that tender skin around your eyes a refreshing drink. So use it at night. The second is L'occitane shea butter products. I use this stuff daily, there is a day cream with spf, a rich night cream, an eye cream. They also have a line called "precious" which I've tried in sample form only that was wonderful. They are really good about giving free samples, probably because the stuff is so good they know you'll get addicted.

Re: Favorite Eye Serum/Cream/Gel for CROW'S FEET?
Wed, June 6, 2007 - 11:25 AMRationale Skin Rejuvenating Serum is what I am using. Its for all over as well as eyes and I am having great results - I am also using the rest of their skin care products so I have not had a real breakout in over 2 months. It is a little pricey - $136 for a bottle BUT you only need 2-4 drops for your whole face so the bottle should last several months.
Upside - In addition to helping the wrinkles, it's healing some of the skin damage from years of tanning.
Downside - its only available in Australia thru dermatologists and plastic surgeon's offices but hopefully soon here in the U.S.

Re: Favorite Eye Serum/Cream/Gel for CROW'S FEET?
Sun, July 29, 2007 - 9:23 PMmine is Mannatech eye cream, I've tried many other products\:
here are the reasons why overall Mannatech skin care is great:
Mannatech skincare
www.mannatech.com:
-*It has no harsh chemicals, no dyes, no petroletum, no
fragrance,
(all of these ingredients which is
uneccessary and stresses the skin out= wrinkles)
-*no sulfites (which strips the skin of its natural
colors etc...)
-*no parabens and no perservatives
(which a lot of
studies shows has a strong link to cancer,
reproductive harms etc.)
And this product works well.
I tried a lot of product and this is the only facial product that is safe, gentle, effective and vegan for my skin, price is comparable to other products I tried (which those other ones did not work nearly as good as Mannatech skin care).
Mannatech skin care uses within their means to get organic ingredients as much as possible.
And the containers are made of recycled products.
Here is another site that talks about Mannatech as well.

Re: Favorite Eye Serum/Cream/Gel for CROW'S FEET?
Wed, July 16, 2008 - 6:29 AMMy favorite eye cream for crow's feet is Perfective Ceuticals Anti-imperfection Eye Therapy. I started to use it a year ago in my crows feet and frown lines twice a day as directed, in the morning and before bed. After two weeks of use I noticed significant reduction in the wrinkles. After two months use I was very satisfied with the results and was able to reduce the application to once a day. It works especially well in the wrinkles in the crows feet area. I have used the product ever since and would totally recommend it anyone wanting to reduce wrinkles in these areas.
