I think in am finally ready...
I have always been able to keep my natural nails, but these days I work with my hands so much that i break them before i grow them....
I need recommendations of full sets.... should i go gel or acrylic?
Do you know of a cheap place that does good work? (I am so broke right now...)
Does anyone do colored acrylic powder so that i don't have to redo the polish?
please help... I am in and around Downtown SF
Thank you

Re: Fake Nails Full Set
Sat, October 7, 2006 - 1:25 PMThe gel nails are better for the nail bed, but acrylic will last longer. Make sure you go to a clean place, you don't want to get an infected nail especially with acrylic.
My mother-in-law had acrylic nails for a long time and finally decided to stop wearing them. Her natural nails had become very thin from the chemicals. Took a while to grow back.
I would try the Sally Hansen hard as nails polish or something like it to strengthen the nails before you get the fake ones. It's cheaper!
